Giggling Babies

The twins are growing so fast. They are in the giggling phase of life where almost everything you do is funny. Mommy washing the dishes... funny. Alison and Lauren running around the house... funny. Daddy tripping over the bouncy seat for the 100th time... priceless.

We took a video tonight of Alison and Lauren making the girls laugh. This is has been our nightly routine and we all love it.

Here's a picture of the twins in the morning. Can you tell who is who?

Jenny and Conrad's Wedding

My sister Jenny got married in the Boston Temple on October 18th. What a beautiful day it was- the leaves were so colorful and we visited with many dear friends and family. Jenny and Conrad are such a great couple. Jen looked elegant and was the most calm bride I have ever seen. Its great to have a brother-in law like Conrad in the family. After the wedding we went to a wonderful reception where there was dancing and a luncheon. My sister Trisha made their wedding cake- wow- she did an amazing job. Thanks mom and dad and everyone for a great visit.

Farm Days and Pumpkin Patch

Alison and Lauren modeled some clothes for a company called, Pretty Me.

We went to a beautiful horse farm not too far from where we live. The girls had so much fun

looking at the horses and running around before it started to rain. My friend Jen did a great job seeing how the girls were wild. You can check her blog out at: http://www.jenniferandersonphoto.typepad.com/

Ahh! This picture just melts my heart.

Lauren's favorite pose.

We went to a pumpkin patch on Saturday as a family. The girls went on a hay ride with Steve to pick out their very own pumpkin. It was a gorgeous day.
Alison contemplates getting the large one- but decides since she can't pick it up she'll move on.
The girls decided they really wanted smaller pumpkins.
Lilly and Bailey came to the pumpkin patch too, but they were a bit fussy, so I ended up strolling around with them near the barn (they were just too bothered to have their picture taken then).

Our current past time- making babies laugh

Lately, Alison and Lauren try to make the babies laugh. We'll be posting more of these videos since now they are starting to put on little performances for the babies. Bailey and Lilly crack up when Alison and Lauren pull out some music toys and act silly.

Apple Pie

We had a great visit with the Laverty family- Texas branch. Mike, Lia, Julia and baby Colton drove all the way from Texas and stopped at our house for a few days, before heading up to Martha's Vineyard for the fishing derby- lucky! Here they pose at a civil war battlefield near Harper's Ferry, where we toured around.
Lauren and cousin Julia having fun.
The babies, Lauren and I went apple picking with some of our friends at a beautiful orchard. Luckily, my friend Lindsay had a baby carrier and held Bailey, while I held Lilly.

The rewards of apple picking- our homemade apple pie. Thanks to Grandma Muriel we have a terrific recipe- which turned out amazing. Don't you just love Fall? Movie line- "If I knew you I would send you a bouquet of sharpend pencils."
